A quick update:
This update comes by way of Ribbon-Blue, fresh off of coordinating with Ace Combat Fan on our Ikaros in the Sky translation efforts. Between all of the scanning and coordination for three languages, research related to other flight games and planning future articles, the general work flow became completely disrupted. As I clean up my computer files, so to do I clean up the general desktop work area I use for Lighthouse related projects.
First and foremost, clearing the clutter and beginning the process of getting preparing scans for Ikaros chapter 2 ready. After the scans are complete, once again Ace Combat Fan and I will begin getting them to the translator and starting English translation work. As of the time of this post, I can officially say that work on chapter 2 has begun.
On a related note, Project: Lighthouse received a copy of the Ikaros prologue in Bahasa Indonesia from Otomo Kazuki. We have added this translation to our Ikaros area with their permission but feel free to keep an eye on their own blog as well. Thank you so much for that, Otomo.
It's wonderful to see that even people outside of the Lighthouse workshop are contributing to make sure as many fans as possible can enjoy Ikaros in the Sky.
Greetings Ace Combatants,
I hope we haven’t been keeping you waiting too long to hear from us! Between the long await for the announcement of Ace Combat 7’s release date, E3 2018 just around the corner, the new demo for Project: Wingman landing, and the myriad of moving parts within moving parts that is our ever-expanding list of projects… finding time to update everyone on what’s been going on is nothing short of miracle work! However, you won’t hear any complaints or excuses from us… and we’re more than happy to announce that some of the projects we’ve launched have come to fruition.
