The launch of Ace Combat 101 took place on October 23rd, 2018 with the first article and video made available. The presentation of Tomcat 171's video on The Basics of Flight set a high bar for video production in the project. Ace Combat Fan is already hard at work on his video which will be the second entry in the video series.
Project Lighthouse has begun writing the second article that focuses on Strangereal, the original Ace Combat world. Condensing Strangereal history, it's development as the franchise grew and information beyond what is found in the games is no easy task. Though work on the article has begun, discussions with a potential fourth entrant into the Ace Combat 101 collaboration project are currently in progress. Their participation in Ace Combat 101 would primarily deal with the Strangereal article. If confirmed, this fourth entrant will be announced in a follow on blog post.
Ace Combat 101 is an article and video series designed to introduce new players to the Ace Combat series and welcome back returning fans. This collaboration between Ace Combat Fan, Project Lighthouse and Tomcat 171 is designed to be easily understandable without having to view dozens of web pages and videos.
